A quite large Fullers pub,two roomed with an extended conservatory room tagged on to the saloon area. The first room as you enter from the front of the pub is presumably the public bar, quite smart and clean with mixed high and low seating along with some leather clad sofas,there are some old pictures of the pub on the walls, the floor is a mix of carpet and wood, there is a dart board around to the right of the slightly dog legged room and a muted TV screen showing Sky News at the other end.Four pumps on the bar , Pride doubled up,HSB and Summer Ale, the latter being as average a beer as expected. Through to the second ,large but cosy looking room we find more leather sofas and four more handpumps,but these just mirror image of what is to be found to the front.Its quite a pleasant place but nothing to set the world on fire.
