Moby Duck left this review about The Wheatsheaf
Traditional locals type of pub,the main bar is oak beamed, with a lower level room to your left as you enter the bar which is home to a pool table. There is a decent sized beer garden to the rear. Four pumps but only one on ,and to my disappointment it was Doombar. That aside it is quite a pleasant pub, if I were a Lager drinker I would have no problem using this pub again, but given the lack of real ale (yes I know Doombar was on), I would head 50 yards up the road to the Jolly Farmer with a choice of five or six ales. Still worth a 7/10 for the pub though.
