A not-entirely-successful modernisation of an old pub into a sports bar with numerous TV screens in all directions. White walls and a light wood floor do not make for much atmosphere in the two rooms, with the bar to the left and a seated are to the right. At the back is a surprisingly large outdoor area and an outbuilding houses a pool table. The draught beers were a bit light also, with Doom Bar being the strongest at 4.0, alongside Surrey Hills Ranmore (3.4) and Box Gym Dodger (3.2). Condition seemed good but a bit of variation would have been nice.

The Guildford Tup is not one of the best of looking pubs i have been in,but i go in any pub.
Once inside there is an L shaped room which is bare boarded, the right side is up two steps, the seating is normal tables and chairs and tall tables and stools.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Surrey Hills Ranmoor, which went down well, the other real ales were St Austell Tribute and Courage Best.
The TVs were showing rugby and the pub was very busy on my Saturday afternoon visit.
I thought the pub was better inside than it looked outside.

Bit of a shabby affair this one, shows live sport ,despite three handpumps on the bar all clipped but all were turned round, the only one I identified was St Austell Tribute, the pub seemed full of lagered up celts trying to out macho one another. I think one to miss next time.
