A suburban locals' pub, currently owned by GK, well described by Maldenman below. There was a large projector screen, reasonable music on the jukebox and a friendly landlord. Two ales on draft, GK IPA and Abbot, both in average condition. A decent enough local but not a destination in its own right.

The Cricketers is a basic locals pub,Greene King owned it has an L shaped bar with a seperate room to the right housing a pool table,there is a dartboard at one end of the bar and at the other end around the dogleg is a TV screen,on my visit the Arsenal v Stoke game was on.The floor is mosty carpeted with banquette bench seating around the walls and a number of small stools and tables liberaly scattered throughout. On the bar are four handpumps,sadley from my point of view only two were operational with the two flagship beers available, IPA and Abbott,I would have thought with the Hogsback brewery around a mile up the road there may have been a guest on,of course there is the usual Lagers and Ciders available. The Landlord was friendly and most of the punters were engrossed in the football match.Theres nothing particularly wrong with this pub(except the beer IMO), it does what it says on the can,but I am more likely to call in to the white Hart a bit further down the road which has a more adventurous beer selection.
