Alan Winfield left this review about The Bankfield
The Bankfield was a large grand looking pub that was on the busy mottram road heading east from Hyde.
Once inside the pub had a few different rooms i had a drink in the bar which was a large room that was fairly basic but still a nice enough room to and drink in,there was a smarter lounge and probably a function room.
This pub was a Robinsons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Robinsons bitter which was a decent drink the other beer was Robinsons mild.
It is a great shame that a nice pub like this has now closed down.
