Requested be closed with reason - Gone away: Last orders were called here on 2 June. Pub branding has been removed and the site is now fenced off. The local Caterham free paper reports that there will be a block of flats built on the site incorporating a new ground floor wine bar.

The building was demolished earlier this month and is now just a heap of rubble. Construction work is due to start soon on 14 flats and a wine bar on the site.
