In the right hand side of the White Horse is an L-shaped bar with a serving counter on the rear wall that faces seating to the front and right. In the right rear is a bar billiards table and a projector screen had been pulled down on the right wall for showing the World Cup final between Argentina and France. In the left hand side is a thin strip of seating with a raised area at the rear where the door to the toilets can be found. Out the back is a raised decked seating area.
The bar supports standard and premium keg as well as Beavertown’s Neck Oil. Four of the five hand pumps were in operation drawing Nethergate’s Road to Glory, Greene King’s IPA and Abbot and TT Landlord. The service was friendly and I enjoyed watching the football so I’d pop back in if passing.

Decent town centre pub with a few seats out front which are a real sun trap. Ideal for people watching! 5 beers on including Greene King IPA, Abbot, Timothy Taylors Landlord and Wolf Lavender Honey. I went for the Wolf and it was fine. Worth a visit.
