A former canal warehouse which was converted to a pub in 1975, now owned by Punch. The interior is light and airy, open plan with three distinct areas, one a comfortable dining area with a large open fire, the other two more functional bar and dining areas. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is the hull of a canal boat as a bar counter. Food came in huge portions, far too large in fact, but it was tasty and freshly cooked. Ales available on draft were Doombar, Hobgoblin and Landlord, all three in good condition. Worth dropping in for a meal or a few beers, and the proximity of mooring facilities makes it an attractive proposition when boating.

Conversion of an old canalside warehouse or similar, with good trade from boaters and gongoozlers including much food business. Quite nicely done out inside, with good tables outside by canal. The range of beers was perhaps a bit predictable at time of visit, but might have just been unlucky. Quite drinkable though.

A popular pub situated on Audlem wharf. We've called in here in the past whilst travelling along the canal. It's a useful stopping off point before tackling the main part of the Audlem flight of locks as we were doing, yet again.. In general it's full of tourists in the Summer, but at quieter times it's a good place for a decent pint. The bar selection is mainly mainstream and national beers, but they usually have Salopian Shropshire Gold on, so everything in the world is good. Personally I prefer the Bridge Inn as it's rather more traditional, but this pub has it's place by keeping most of the tourists out of there. :-))
