The manager here has a keen interest with real ales and always has a couple of gems on tap. The pub itself attracts a mixed clientele, it's a middle of the road sort of place trying to cater for everyone. It has a large plasma screen and jukebox, down one side which doesn't intrude on the rest of the pub. I enjoyed the Nethergate Bitter and Adnams Gunhill. The manager even went down to the cellar to bring up a sample of the Adnams Regatta. Will call again.

A fair sized open plan pub selling up to 4 real ales with a couple from local breweries(not from the one just around the corner!)
