Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Old Crown

Marston's pub in a small village due north of Tamworth, still having two separate bars (with the one to the right partly opened-out to extend back into a slightly split-level dining area). Unfortunately, both parts have been given a rather unsympathetic, semi-modern refurbishment but importantly it seems to be doing well. Standard printed menu, and a beer garden can be found out back. Wainwright (£4.20) and Pedigree available from a bank of four handpumps on each counter.

Trevor Astin left this review about The Old Crown

The Old Crow opened for drinks again in December 2010 and the refurbished restaurant reopened in March 2011 offering top quality home cooked food. Always has real cask ales available. the pub had a 2 1/2 acre field to the rear with a large enclosure for people wishing to exercise there dogs. Also a dog friendly bar and a very friendly Landlady and her husband.
Well worth a visit to see just how much this place has changed
