Food pub with a pool table and dartboard. Banks's Mild and Wainwrights on when I visited. The Wainwrights was fine. We were the only customers and the service was friendly. I'd be happy to call in again.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The White Hart

Refurbished Marston's pub (although not obviously branded as such), with a variety of seating areas within the partially opened-out 'L'-shaped interior. Anonymous semi-modern furniture and decor throughout, although the rear patio beer garden looks OK. Various food offers noted. Annoyingly, the glimpse of nine handpumps in a row as you enter proves to be something of a mirage since only Pedigree and Banks's Mild (keenly priced at £1.99) were actually on.

A cream rendered and cream painted brick, detached gastro-pub, with beer garden and child's play area.

The interior is open plan, a bit soulless as these places are, but i have seen worse. Decor is mustard and clayish colour, with some wood panel and moulded ceiling. Decoration is supplied by an eclectic mix of old photos and sports pictures mainly. There was Sky TV and a dart board. Music was tosh chart stuff, but service was fine, the clientele small and mixed.

Beer; Tap tosh, with Hobgoblin, Banks's Bitter and a so-so Banks's MILD on handpull.

I would pop in here again from time to time - perhaps it shows how bad Cannock town centre is. The beer choice is ok and the place is just a bit bland - mix it with the Roebuck and the Fern & Fallow, at least you can have a couple of real ale pints.
