The Travellers is a decent looking stone built pub that is situated on a very busy road close to a road junction.
Once inside there is a single L shaped room with the bar facing, the front area was divided into three seperate areas by retaining walls, the right side extended to the rear this area had comfy bench seating and chairs which ran down the right side of the room, there was a pool table and darts board to the rear of this area.
There were a couple of unused pumps on the bar,i had a drink of John Smiths Magnet which went down fairly well.
The pub was fairly busy on my Saturday afternoon visit, there was some decent background music playing, the TV was showing a cowboy film which seemed a bit strange.
This is a smart and pleasant pub, shame about the lack of one real ale.
