Another of Maltby's estate pubs, this one having hidden itself behind some Covid-inspired "temporary" extensions. Once inside there are two rooms (plus a function room - or does one of them double as such?) - the public bar has tiles on the floor and a pool table, with the false ceiling partly removed to improve the sense of space; the lounge has wooden floorboards and carpet. There are two hand pumps in each bar, but no real ale on on a Saturday afternoon. I went for Worthington Creamflow, which was too cold. Some might argue that that's the whole point, but in fact I've had this beer served elsewhere at a drinkable temperature and it's not too bad at all.
