As described by others, below, this single-room bar is good at being what it is, a town bar. It was previously The Elephant, in old speak a LGBTQWTF bar though things have moved on since then. It has a separate function room, and there are seats outside where al fresco drinkers and smokers can enjoy a beer. There are TV screens showing live football, a gaming machine, and there was Queen on the jukebox which somehow seemed both appropriate and nostalgic. The foreign barman seemed a bit clueless, but he was nonetheless sociable. A selection of board games on a rack in one corner provided a source of amusement to those who had the time. No real ale available. The keg range consisted of Neck Oil, Gamma Ray, Amstel, Guinness, Fosters, Thatchers Gold, Cruzcampo and Heineken. Decent enough for a late bar or function room hire but not my first choice of pub in the city.

Strongers . left this review about The Boardroom
The Boardroom is a single room pub with U-shaped bar counter that supports standard and premium keg. Nothing of real interest here, although there is a retro gaming machine in the corner. Not somewhere I plan to revisit.

A large modish place in brown and turquoise with an island bar and high ceiling. Four pumps round the far side with 2x Dawkins beers; Chocadee (flat and taken back and off) and Best, cardboardy and aspiratored to death. Made good my escape, what a waste of time!
