Closed and boarded up when I passed today. Looks very similar to its 2011 and 2014 photos on here. A decent size building, would make a good real ale and food pub.

Recently reopened as the damp smell would suggest. A decent stone build building with a bar to the right which was open. It's a corner room with an L shaped counter which is home to a single unused hand pull. Umpteen keg fonts, I chose 1664 which was more foul than I remember, with a good slug of crystal malt. There's a pool table, constant music and a couple of big screens. Decor is horse racing themed. With the Corner Pin opposite I wouldn't bother.
