Go every week and the majority of our meals are spot on, the landlord and landlady are very polite and listen to and deal with feedback efficiently, v welcoming pub all the staff are friendly. I'm a bit of a fussy eater and ask for items to be taken off or changed and if's usually possible without any fuss. The steaks are brilliant, cooked just right and full of flavour but the rabbit pie or game pie are both delicious too!!! Would also recommend the carvery unfortunately we usually miss it because of work but the few times we have had it we thought it was great value and lovely fresh veg - we should know we work for a national chain that charges more on a sunday and gives substantially less meat compared to here!

I had one of the homemade pies and it was absolutely superb, would recommend to anyone, the atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were all incredibly polite! The land lord and lady were extremely welcoming and it was an all round lovely meal out!

WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH.Burnt, soggy and unable to eat any of it, and when we complained the landlady was very rude. Will not be returning and also would not recommend this place again.We have had numerous meals here before, and I have taken leaflets to work to tell my colleagues to "go".So take your "chance" but if you don't like it, don't dare complain to the "landLADY"
