It was a real 'local pub for local people' in the best tradition of Royston Vasey with poor service, worse beers and offered a cool welcome for those who are not regulars. However there has been a recent refit and there are rumours of improvements - although I'm tempted to wander in to see for myself, previous experiences are getting the better of me at the moment.
