A small village pub in the outback of Somerset, very much geared to its regulars. The ground floor rooms have been knocked through into a single room with the chimney breast, open on two sides, in the centre, and the bar counter on one side, exposed timbers showing the original structure and a somewhat dated carpet. There is a comfortable lounge area with a gaming machine, while the rest has padded benches at the side and tables laid for diners. The food is basic pub grub, freshly cooked and sold at an average price. The menus are laminated, and there is a specials board. There isn't much by way of garden, just a couple of wooden benches at the front. Ales on were Tribute and Butcombe's Gold, reasonably kept and enjoyable. Somewhat quaint, mainly used by locals but worth dropping in if passing.

This village pub does a good solid job in serving the local area. The pub is divided into 2 with the left hand side (as you enter) laid out for dining and the right drinking. The bar is at the end of the pub on the right. Real ales were unexciting in Otter Bright and St Austall Dartmoor. Not bad at all.
