The Sneyd Arms is a large J-shaped pub with central bar that serves a long seating area up the left, raised seating across the front and high tables, a pool table and two dartboards to the right. Televisions are located throughout for showing Racing TV and Sky Sports. A Premier League football match was muted whilst some low background music played during a recent midweek evening visit. Standard and premium keg was available and four out of five hand pumps were in operation drawing Greene King’s IPA, Old Speckled Hen and Abbot Ale. Food is available, the burgers are all priced under £10. The service was polite, but I’ll not be walking from Hanley again to revisit.

The Sneyd Arms is a very large pub that overlooks a road junction.
Once inside there is a raised area to the front left and then two very long rooms which extend to the rear of the pub, these run either side of the bar,the right side is more like a bar with a pool table and darts board in it,the left side is more like a lounge and this area has mainly normal tables and chairs.
There were lots of pumps on the bar in different areas with more in the lounge side,i had a drink of Pedigree which was a decent drink, the other beers i noted were Wadworth 6X, Black Sheep bitter and Hobgoblin.
The pub was very busy with most people drinking and these were a good mix of age groups,it also had a good lively atmosphere to it.
