The Cushion faces open countryside but is a shortish walk from the middle of Goldenhill.
Once inside there is a single T shaped room with the bar to the front right,the room is carpeted and seemed quite cosy and comfortable with bench seating to the rear,there was a TV showing the BBC news,there was also a darts board.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Mansfield Englands,dont know the rest of the name,the other beer was Ushers Celtic.
This is a nice pleasant pub that was quite busy on my early Saturday evening visit.
