The Barley Mow is a typical looking estate pub that is on an estate to the south of Biddulphs town centre.
Once inside the pub has two seperate rooms,i had a drink in the bar which is to the right,this room is square shaped,there was a pool table and darts board to the front right,there was a strange looking sectioned off area to the middle left which had bench seating and a TV showing the Aston Villa v Newcastle game,this area was carpeted and quite busy with younger drinkers.
There is a seperate lounge to the left which was not in use on my Saturday dinner visit.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of the really horrible Boddingtons cream crap,which was a very crap drink.
I dont mind doing pubs like this,but this is very much a locals pub,not one to go out of your way to do like i did.
