Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Telegraph

A much-larger-than-it-initially-looks side-street pub, with various seating areas around the central bar counter. All parts plain and semi-traditional in appearance, but well maintained and managed. Plenty of sports TVs showing live football, but the dartboards and pool table were both fully occupied during my visit. Sharp's Atlantic had just gone off as seemingly the sole real ale from one of the three handpumps, but thankfully the Ludlow Gold clip was turned around by the barman who asked whether I would be happy with that instead as it was just going on, and for £3.00 this proved a much better alternative (and thus happiness all round...).

An absolute bugger to find and, sadly, not really worth the effort. Its a nice friendly enough pub but certainly not a destination pub. If you live by it, great, otherwise I wouldn't bother unless you're ticking off your pub visits. 3 handpumps on the bar with 2 dispensing Doom Bore and a guest. An open plan pub with a pool table as you enter and a largish lounge area to the rear. To find the pub you need to go over the wall, round the corner, turn left at the right hand turn, go under the overpass, across the left turn turning right at the left side of the cross. Or it seemed like that anyway.

Slightly ackward to find pub about a 10 minute walk from the Station , larger than it looks from the outside it is basically just one big room with seperate areas , it is quite long , narrowing in the middle and opening out at both ends , the areas by the front entrance are plusher with buttoned leather bench seats , a pool table is to the right , the bar runs along the left and to the far end there is a dart board , customers were a good mix of ages from youngsters to old boys with a good bit of banter flying around .
Usual keg taps Carling , Worthy , John Smiths etc plus Theakstons Mild , three handpulls , only two on with Black Sheep and the exellent Castle Rock Harvest Pale , i had the Castle Rock and very good it was to , special mention for the friendly barmaid who asked how i wanted the beer served , flat or with a head , a nice touch .
Its a decent enough pub this
