An old school, two-roomed boozer - one room is smaller with a dartboard taking centre-stage; the other with a mix of cosy seating, a pool table, photos of the pub from years past and framed album covers, which are a nice, modern touch. Quiet on a Sunday arvo compared to the nearby Bay Tree, this would be my go-to boozer in Grove (The Volunteer is on the outskirts) although the state of the car park doesn't do it any favours. Two ales on - Sharp's Doom Bar and an excellent Purity UBU.
