A naughty little brother to the nearby Bear & Ragged Staff on Cumnor's confusing one-way system. This has an air of originality with exposed stone internal walls and the retention of two rooms - one a games room (pool table and wall-mounted TV screening sports). The right-hand room is cosier and although allows eating, does not prevent liquid diners. Just Brakspear Bitter (x2) and Wychwood Hobgoblin available. The Breakspear was about as good as it sounds, but this is one to leave to the purists.
