The only pub in the village, the White Horse is flagstone-floored with the bar to the right-hand corner as you enter through the front entrance. Belhaven Golden Bay, Butcombe Bitter and Wolf Golden Jackal were the three eclectic ales on handpump, with the latter on decent form. Predominantly geared up for dining, there's a decent area set aside for drinkers and I was told it successfully caters for both. Not one to actively seek out, but the ale range means it may be worth a swerve.
