Alan Winfield left this review about Chandlers Arms
The Chandlers Arms is a small stone built pub that is in a small village a few miles outside Banbury.
Once inside the pub had two rooms there was a dining room to the right and the main bar was to the left, this room had bare boards and normal tables and chairs, there was a real fire on the go which was situated inbetwen the two rooms.
This pub is a Hook Norton tied house and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Hookey bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Old Hookey and Cotswold Lion.
This was a decent enough pub but there was no background music making the pub seem to quiet in my opinion.
