Alan Winfield left this review about The White Lion
The White Lion was a decent looking white painted pub that was situated just away from the town centre.
When i went in this pub it was a Wetherspoons house, the pub had been opened out but still retained lots of different drinking areas and seemed quite smart and comfortable.
There was a decent choice of real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Oakhill best bitter which was a very nice drink.
Wetherspoons sold this pub off when they opened the Liquorice Gardens in the middle of Worksop.
