The Kilton Inn is a little to the east of Worksop town centre and is not really worth the effort to get to. As Will commented almost 10 years ago, this is a friendly, community local. Real ale and cider is no longer available, with the keg selection being Carling, Madri, Moretti, Coors, John Smith's, Guinness, Strongbow & Strongbow Dark Fruit. However, there is still a Sharp's Atlantic handpull with the clip turned round. So, perhaps real ale is occasionally available.
I didn't take too much notice of the interior. It is fairly open plan, but the layout does allow you to find a quiet corner here or there. I'm fairly sure I also noticed a pool table at the rear right-hand side near to the toilets. Otherwise, this place was fairly unremarkable.

This is a community pub, being far enough from the town centre to attract people from the local area rather than shoppers or out-of-towners with time to kill before a bus. The original layout of smaller rooms is long since gone, of course, but the present layout does make a fair attempt at areas with different character, and overall it is smartly and comfortably furnished. The two hand pumps on the bar were dispensing Doom Bar and Old Rosie, and there were the usual fonts for non-real beers. A decent beer or two would make this one worth the walk from the town centre for the casual real ale drinker, though I imagine that most people in the community who use the place must be quite happy with it as it is.

The Kilton Inn is about a 5 minute walk from the centre of Worksop and i thought it was well worth the walk.
Once inside the bar was facing, there was a very smart looking carpeted area to the left this had comfortable bench seating there was a larger area to the right which was bare boarded and had a pool table, the whole pub seemed very smart and well kept.
There were no brewery signs outside but i thought the pub could be an Everards tied house as there were two of their beers on the bar and all the beermats were Everards.
There were two real ales on here i had a drink of Everards Tiger bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Everards Sunchaser.
The pub was fairly busy late Saturday afternoon and i found it very comfortable with a nice laid back atmosphere.
Overall a pleasant pub to have a few drinks in.
