The White heart is a large ex Kimberly Brewery pub that is now under the management of Greene King. The pub is located behind the Queens medical centre and in clos eproximity to two other pubs making this little corner of lenton quite good for a small pub crawl. The pub has recently been refurbished and when waking past looked quite inviting especially for a Greene King pub but sadly this is as far as it went. Branded as an “eating Inn” pub under the GK banner the inside was the same as their other soulless offerings with generic fixtures and fittings and a very cheap chain feel. The semi-circular bar was located at the back end of the pub and stretch around to the left. Normal tables and chairs as well as high stools were spread over the pub with some dividing walls partitioning separate areas. There is also a large section to the right of the pub almost the size of the actual bar area itself that was windowless from the front entrance that I can only assume is a function room. The drinks selection was very uninspiring, four hand pulls were available with GK ipa on its own special pump which indicates its always available with Old golden hen, Abbot and a 3.9 % house beer by Greene king called Lenton Priory. I had the house beer for a reasonable £2.75 but this was served way to cold and flat even with a sparkler which void it of any flavour or substance. This was a very disappointing pub with crap beer and no atmosphere, a pretty much standard GK pub really, probably won’t bother again

The White Hart is a decent looking pub that used to be a Kimberley tied house.
The pub has been done up and is now a Greene King house with a range of their mediocre beers.
This pub does a lot of food trade.
