Alan Winfield left this review about Old Peacock

The Old Peacock was just down the hill from the Wheatsheaf and it was a corner pub.
This pub was an Home Ales tied house when i used to go in it and there were two rooms inside that i noticed, the bar was a decent size and the lounge was cosy and comfy.
There were two real ales on the bar and both the Home mild and bitter being very nice drinks.
This pub is still standing but has been empty for quite a few years now.
