Alan Winfield left this review about Byrons

Byrons was a 60s built pub that looked box like from the outside it was opposite Nottinghams main central police station.
Despite the looks from the outside the pub was quite smart inside with one large lounge type room that had comfortable bench seating in bays and chesterfield settees at either end of the longish room.
This pub was a Shipstones tied house and the bitter and mild were usually very nice in here, this was one of mine and my wifes favourite Nottingham pubs has it was a nice pub to relax in and have a decent drink.
Sadly this pub was pulled down around 2000 to make way for the new trinity square development.
