No pretentions here, this is definitely a community local with no ambition to be yet another gastro-affair. Public bar to the left, lounge to the right, the latter closed when we called on a weekday lunchtime. Pity about that, I wouldn't have minded a look based on the gushing WhatPub account. Anyway the bar is traditionally basic, darts, pool table in another room to the rear, village hall furniture. All present were sat out front enjoying the sunshine; we joined them for a cheerfully served San Miguel.
A couple of pumps clipped for Marston's related beers, but I didn't want to risk the first pint out for 18 hours.
Look in if you're passing this way.
