A small low ceilinged Sams hous and guess what with a traditional interior, directly opposite the front gate of the John Smiths Brewery. It has an undoored two room layout, with a long room containing the counter straight ahead and a small snug with bench seating at Britannias to the right, decorated with old Taddy photos. The main bar is popular and has a traditional mix of booths and tables and chairs, again decorated with old Taddy photos. Beer quality is fairly poor for the cask OBB. Judging by the hi-vis jackets some punters may work across the road.

A very small Sam Smiths pub in the center of Tadcaaster located in the shadow of the john smiths factory on the other side of the road. Be warned this pub unlike a lot of other Sams pubs in the town has restricted opening times and closes 4-7 every day. we were early and had to return later on. Once inside there is a rounded bar and a few seats to the left with a room to the right with more seating and tables thats has been opened up. The usual Sams range was present with Cask OBB at the usual £1.80 and this was a nice drink in here. A very small and coseypub to have a few drinks in and one of the friendlier pubs in Tadcaster, the locals and landlady were very helpful for giving directions.

This is a small stone built pub that is close to John Smiths brewery.
These are the sort of pubs that pubcos close down but this is a Samuel Smiths tied house.
Once inside here there are two small rooms i went in the bar which was pretty basic but nice enough for a drink,i had a drink of Old Brewery bitter which was a really nice drink.
I thought this was a decent pub and was happy having a drink in here.
