On the main road too Selby from Drax roundabout you will find this well sited pub.Small carpark though backing a small caravan site but on a cold winters day an inviting open fire for all.A food pub beer average and reasonable.The food howerever is belly busting.I hate the term home made,its sounds like someone made it at home and brought in and warmed it up.Far from it actually try the mixed grill,liver and onions or the Barnesley chops,then try and move from the table,the weight you will be carrying won't be the bill.QUIRK- get your car washed whilst you dine!
