This is a sports bar and every area has a couple of huge TVs so that everyone can see the match. Furnishing is minimal and for some reason there are two large statues of the Blues Brothers in the window. These may well be remnants of a previous existance as live music doesn't seem to be the aim here. There's no real ale, so I had a pint of Carling. The other half had the worst glass of red wine that she's ever been served in a pub. I took it back to the bar and the barmaid said "That's what it tastes like, it's just crap red wine". It was only then that I realised it was only £1.50 a glass!! We only called in here as it started lashing it down just as we were passing. Next time I think I'd rather get wet.

When we first visited this bar it was called Smilers cafe bar.
This was a newish bar that was close to a busy road junction, once inside there was one largish room that was dimly lit,we visited early evening when it was fairly quiet and we found it to be a decent place to chill out over a pint, there were two real ales on the bar and we had a drink of Theakston XB and this was a decent drink the other beer was a beer from Youngers.
