Philip Gaskin left this review about Longe Arms

This pub nearly shut at the end of 2010 when the lease was due to run out. Two villagers decided to take it over rather than see it close. It has had a refurbishment, and is clean, plain and tidy. Black Sheep Bitter was the only real ale available, but there was a second unused pump. At £3.60 for a pint and a small diet Coke, the prices are reasonable. There is a pool table and flat screen TV at the right hand end of the bar. The only food appears to be pizzas and paninis, but they are not available on Mondays, or Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Even though it was a Monday afternoon when we visited, there were a few customers in. I hope the pub succeeds.
