Not a lot to add to previous reviews. The interior has been ripped apart over the years and is a bit featureless.Usual Youngs beers on cask but the bitter was decent.Few customers on a warm night.

This is a Young's Ram pubco pub, so only Young's branded beers were on, although the seasonal Winter Warmer was in good shape. I didn't see any sign of food on a Wednesday lunchtime.

The main bar area as you enter is bare-boarded now, and is furnished entirely with tall tables and tall stools. It also still has the pool table and dartboard in I guess what must be regarded as a sports area on the right hand side of the room. A small room to the rear and left of the servery is carpeted, and has a couple of sofas plus a couple of small tables and chairs. A conservatory has been added on the left, providing a fair amount of much needed additional traditional seating. This area is also carpeted. So, enough comfortable seating to satisfy most tastes.

The shelves in the conservatory had books on them, presumably for customers to read/borrow, plus a selection of cacti, which of course is most appropriate for a conservatory. There were a few prints on a wall in here, but the decor in the rest of the pub seemed to be rugby related (Twickenham being fairly near) including several signed shirts. The bar counter looks to be inter-war, but I didn't spot anything else of heritage interest.

This is a decent enough pub without being anything very special. I've been in plenty of much worse pubs.
