Decent traditional two bar pub on the North East corner of Griffin Park. Agree with a previous reviewer that this one has a bit of an Irish feel to it and not just because of the Shamrocks and signs proclaiming it to be the West London home of the Celtic Supporters Club, but the Irish landlord and bar staff and horse racing being shown in the front bar added to it for my visit.
Same two ales were on for me also and again the Rocking Rudolph was just about passable. But I got the impression that real ale is not the focus here, especially as in the time I was there I was the only person to bother the ale hand pumps, whilst the lager and Guinness pumps were getting a workout.
This was an OK pub and I’m sure the locals will keep it in rude health when Brentford F.C. move out.

Just Rockin' Rudolph and Doom Bar on here - The Rudolph was OK as far as it goes, but it wouldn't be my first choice of beer. There was no sign of food on Wednesday afternoon.
This is a deceptively large pub. The main bar area (i.e. where the servery's located) at the front has a few tables and chairs at the front by the bay window and is quite a nice area. It was clearly once at least two rooms, as a bit of screening that would once have been large enough to separate a couple of rooms still survives. But as you pass around behind the counter on the right you find yourself in a large room, and since we felt like exploring further we moved on into yet another large room seemingly tagged on at the back and to the right. It really is a surprisingly rambling pub. We sat in the back room on the right, and this room seemed to be something of a room dedicated to sport, as there were numerous sporting scarves hanging from the ceiling and walls, signed shirts, and no less than four large TVs on the walls. There's also a garden right at the back.
I reckon if you just want a drink in a pub-like atmosphere then the front room is the place to settle, but if you are in a larger group then you would probably have to go and sit in one of the rooms at the back.
