Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Kings Head
Modernised Shepherd Neame pub with a partly opened-out interior that features a L-shaped bar / restaurant (with all tables laid up for those dining) and a separate lounge area off to the right. Behind this, there is an enclosed and partly covered beer garden with a gravel surface, although the refurbishment must be very recent as it all looks a bit bleak and devoid of vegetation. Alternatively, some wooden benches can be found out on the grass on the car-park side. Master Brew, Whitstable Bay Pale (£4.70) and Spitfire available from the three handpumps.

This village Shepherd Neame pub is currently closed for refurbishment. No mention of it on its Facebook page. Indeed, it had been advertised on Facebook as open as recently as the previous weekend, although Google did indicate it may be closed and in fairness, there was also mention of its temporary closure on its own website. On arrival, a board outside directed us to Instagram for details! How many sources of social media do you have to check these days to plan a pub crawl?!!

A very good selection of Shepherd Neame ales, and it's won awards for the food. Friendly service in a pleasant location.
Somewhere I visit every week or so - thoroughly recommended.
