Its a nice enough pub selling real ales and has a dining area by the bar. Nice relaxing beer garden outside to use in decent weather. It can be, unfortunately, be frequented by some narcissistic beauts.

I was my misfortune to arrange lunch to celebrate the birthday of my father in law , we were a party of 6 adults and 4 children, we arrived at 12.30, the rest of our party arrived by 12.40, ordered our meals at 13.05, after 45 mins we enquired where our food might be, the waitress told us the resaurant was very busy (it was empty when we arrived) and that the delay was because we had ordered steaks, the food arrived some 20 minutes later, 1 hr and 5 mins from placing our order, several tables that had ordered after us received food 10 - 20 mins. before us. When we surveyed what had been presented, all the meat was burned, despite a request of medium rare, and 10 mins after my mixed grill arrived a waitress brought me a fried egg on a plat
