very pleasant multi roomed pub on the edge of the Baltic Triangle and an excellent antidote to the tedium of the crafty industrial chic hipster taverns in this area. it has busy decor typical of a good dock pub. not exactly worth going out of your way to visit but this is the kind of characterful boozer that it feels good to support. Wainwrights the only real ale, but that’s one more than I expected.

On the very very outskirts of the city centre. A 4 roomed pub by the marina and Cains Brewery. The main lounge is split into two with the servery on the left with a thin seating area. To the right is a seated area. The bar also serves the two rooms at the rear. Two cask ales available, which were Sharps' Doom Bore and Atlantic. Though theres nothing wrong with the place its not really worth the walk out. But if you wish to you'll find a friendly enough place

Old Boots left this review about The Coburg

Very ordinary ex dockland pub now modernised and gentrified with bland modern décor and big clear windows. A drab range of kegs including Carling, Carlsberg, Stella, Strongbow, Guinness and Tetley smooth in various temperature guises. Appears to be very much a local’s pub but then it is not near very much except cheap hotels and industrial units. Although it is near some posh dockside apartments I doubt the Coburg’s customers live in them.
