Al Bundy left this review about Britannia Inn

A largish Crown Carveries place on Otterspool Prom. Situated overlooking the Mersey estuary it has fine views of the Wirrals eastern coast. The pub is open plan with the bar on the right hand side if you enter from the promanade. Family friendly it is obviously popular on sunny summer days. The usual carvery smell permeates the place. It is sort of split into 3 sections. 3 handpumps on the bar of which all were reversed, no big miss there though as the choice is pretty dull Greene King IPA, Bombardier and Pedigree judging by the reversed clips.
