An L shaped interior with nothing particularly Irish about it apart from the flags. A couple of big TV screens showing cricket on my visit. Speakers and a lighting rig in one corner, there's also a jukebox. There's a well hidden beer garden at the rear. No real ale, but a very sweary barmaid. I had a quick half of Carling at a rip off £1.75 for a pub like this. A nothing pub that I'll never return to I suspect.

A small boozer just off the Northern Quarter. Irish themed, naturally, and lots of Irish county flags and cead mile failte nonsense dotted around. A L-shaped single room and no real ale. Its not too bad a place and as its off the main areas its very much a locals local.

The Shamrock Inn is a decent stand alone pub that is in an indusrtial area just off oldham road.
Once inside there wee a couple of rooms and i had a drink in the bar this was a decent room, the pub was a Burtonwood tied house when i went in it and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Burtonwood bitter and this was a decnt drink the other beer was Burtonwood mild.
I thought this was quite a nice pub and it is still open but it is now a Marstons tied house.
