An opened out pub that obviously used to be muliple rooms, although there are still distinct areas. Several TVs dotted around the place and lots of old pictures on the walls. There's an old range in the middle of one room and a couple of decent fireplaces. Northern Soul was playing in the background which is fine by me. 5 handpumps on the bar but only 2 on serving the totally boring Robinsons Unicorn and Sharps Atlantic, which was in good nick. A nice enough pub let down by the ale choice.

A multi area pub. Its a bit grey inside but it ok for a bevvy. Real ale available. Crap Franz Ferdinand songs coming out of speakers made it a bit of a mare on this afternoon visit. Real ale available.

Friendly, cosy pub in the heart of Didsbury with sectioned off rooms, and seems to attract both locals and business type people alike. There were quite a few Guest beers on which are changed with regularity,I sampled a couple of excellent pints of the Phoenix Brewery's Humbug (ABV 7.0)where the alcohol level compliments rather than dominates the flavour.Worth a visit.
