The Cock Hotel has an L-shaped left hand bar with a DJ booth to the left of the entrance, banquette seating along the front and up the left wall and a bar counter on the rear wall. A couple of televisions were showing muted Sky Sports. I was the only person in here as the ten or so locals were in the right hand public bar playing pool. I stuck my head in to hear background music coming from the jukebox, but there was nowhere to sit so I stayed in the other bar. On the drinks front, Standard keg and Birra Moretti were available. The service was polite, but think I’ll leave this place to the locals in future.

The Cock Hotel is a stand alone pub that is situated in the haughton green area of Denton.
Once inside i went into a decent room that was carpeted and was more like a lounge with comfortable bench seating and normal tables and chairs.
The pub had Websters signs outside when i went here and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Wilsons bitter which was a decent enough drink the other beer was Websters bitter.
This was a decent enough pub to have a drink in.
