Alan Winfield left this review about The Berwick Arms
The Berwick Arms is a small back street pub that is fairly close to Strangeways prison.
When i visited this pub it had Bass signs outside but there were no Bass beers on the bar, once inside the pub was fairly basic with a couple of small rooms,i had a drink in the bar and this was a decent enough room.
There were three real ales on the bar and i had a drink of Lees bitter and this was a decent drink the other beers were Boddingtons bitter and Websters Yorkshire bitter.
This was a nice proper old pub and i was quite happy having a drink in here.
