Strongers . left this review about The Granuaile
This place used to be called Mollie Malone’s two or three years ago and now as the Granuaile it is still an Irish pub, but not so in your face. There is a projector screen and TVs throughout for showing Sky Sports, but as no events were on during my Monday evening visit these screens were off. That is apart from the one behind the bar that was on some music channel with the volume cranked right up. To be honest I was the only customer apart from a small group of the friendly barmaid’s mates so it did feel like I had walked in on a private meeting, so I didn’t stay long.
The pub looks like it has been done up at some point and the décor is pretty sparse with a feel like it is designed for the weekend crowd. There was an area that looked like it was used for live music so maybe this place is open late some nights.
I imagine this place being good fun if the right crowd are in and I may revisit at a busier time.
