The Bath House is a Greene King pub that was empty at lunchtime on a Tuesday in June when the surrounding streets and roads were bustling with tourists. The TV was airing muted BBC News and there was some very low background music playing. There are a couple of small seating areas to the left rear and front, but the main seating area is to the right, faced by the bar that runs along the rear wall. The bar was supporting a few keg products, such as Amstel, Heineken and Peroni, as well as six hand pumps. These were drawing Greene King IPA and Yardbird, Timothy Taylor Landlord, Tiny Rebel’s Birra Colada and two real ciders from Lilleys, Peach and Tropical. I didn’t note the availability of food, but I’d be surprised is standard pub fayre wasn’t available.

A traditional town pub from the time of George III, based in a much earlier building terrace, currently owned by Greene King, which formed the first peon of our town crawl.  Ales on were GK IPA, Barmy Army, Starry Night, Gangly Ghoul plus 5 craft beers. The ales were in acceptable condition, maybe a bit too cold.  Staff were pleasant, most of the clientele were civilised and it was quite quiet given the time of the evening.  The food was the standard GK menu, rather uninspiring and lacklustre.  I'd be very happy to come back here and include in future crawls for its beer and atmosphere.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Bath House

A surprisingly modern contrasting interior, but nevertheless it's functional, bright and airy. Maybe a better description is minimalist. The layout is mostly comprised of oak timbers, which includes the all the seating and high tables. A friendly and helpful barmaid on our visit. Six handpumps, with five in use, we went for the Notts Brewery Extra Pale Ale.
