This is a Victorian pub, originally the Station Hotel on account of its proximity to Acton Central station.
As mentioned, this has undergone substantial trendification, with a bare boarded floor, smoky blue paint with some bare brick, gold velour drape curtains, the main attraction being the extraordinary, oversized gold painted lily sculptures. Furniture is traditional and mixed, with dark brown studded banquettes, lighting coming from Islamic-inspired fittings; off to the right is a smart dining area.
There were two unused pumps then just Pride – no thanks – so it was a half of Neck Oil (£3.20) served by a smiley barmaid.
This place is just about ok and the makeover is more interesting than most, but I’d need something more than Pride to get me to drink cask here and by turns, return; the lack of a lock on the unisex cubicle doesn’t help this pub's cause either.

Lovely entrance to this attractive pub.Bright open bar area with a good external area to the side.Only Pride on cask so had Opengate -Citra on keg which was surprisingly good.Sport on tv.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Rocket
Close by Acton Central station, this corner building has been given something of a gastro-pub makeover inside the rectangular bar and side dining room. There is also a little external seating on the narrow side terrace. Two of the three handpumps were in operation, dispensing London Pride (£4.60) and Gales HSB when I stopped by on a Sunday evening. Overall, the above-background jazz seemed appropriate to the place.
