One room with bar to left rear. Seven hand pumps with a fair selection of ale. Also outside seating. Quite a decent place all in all.

A good traditional pub that's well worth a visit. This is a medium sized pub, consisting of tables and chairs along the front window and original cask iron fireplace over to the left. High back settles ran along the right hand wall, with the bar situated far left as you entered the pub, which was pine and finished in a dark stain. The bar also had a pot shelf above the counter. The woodwork throughout the rest of the pub was painted in a dark grey colour. Seven ales on handpump, so we went for the Oakham Citra and Daleside G + P Gin Infused Pale Ale. The pub also has a couple of cats wondering around, we met one of them called Betty. The pub has a friendly and jolly atmosphere.

The A Board outside the door simply said Boozer, and it was spot on. A pleasant looking exterior and a nice but functional traditional interior with no less than eight handpumps, all pleasingly in action with a decent session strengthed range of beers, all between 3.8% and 4.5%.Darkstar Hophead,Greene King St Edmonds and Frankenstien (a corriander infused wheat beer, whatever next),Wold Top Keepers Light,Everads Tiger,Mordue Workie Ticket,Holt Two Hoots and Ilkley Pale.It is obviously a locals pub and very friendly to boot,a good find this one.
